How we win cases

Most families who come to us have already been denied once or don't know where to start. We dig into the documentation, close the gaps SSA is looking for, and build the strongest possible case — at no upfront cost to you.

Case Studies
Real stories, real outcomes
Every case is different. Here are a few examples of what we've accomplished for families just like yours.
Case Study 01
7-Year-Old with Autism — Approved at First Filing
✓ ApprovedFirst Try
This family came to us with a recent Autism diagnosis but no idea how to navigate SSA. We gathered the IEP, psychoeducational evaluation, and therapy records — then built a complete case that DDS approved in 14 weeks without needing a consultative exam.

Case Study 03
12-Year-Old with ADHD — Turned a Denial into an Approval

Case Study 04
9-Year-Old with Cerebral Palsy — Won at ALJ Hearing
✓ ApprovedALJ Hearing
Denied twice before reaching the ALJ level. We prepared a detailed pre-hearing brief with medical expert opinions outlining the child's physical limitations. The judge approved the case on the hearing date. This is exactly why you don't give up after a denial.

Our Vision

The Road Ahead

Advocacy Bridge was built to serve children first. As we grow, we will deepen and expand what we can offer the families who need us most — one phase at a time, and only when we are ready to do it right.

Now — Phase 1

Child SSI Advocacy

Our current and complete focus. We represent children ages 0–17 in SSI disability claims — from initial application through ALJ hearing. Every system, every tool, and every hour of our attention is dedicated to getting these families approved.

Phase 2 — 2028

Expanded Disability Navigation

Supporting families beyond the SSI application itself — helping with disability documentation, connecting families to additional benefit programs, and partnering with schools to align IEP support with SSI eligibility evidence.

Phase 3 — 2029–2030

Adult SSI & SSDI Advocacy

Expanding representation to adults with disabilities, including the critical age-18 transition where children aging out of SSI must requalify under adult standards. No child we serve should fall through the cracks at 18.

Phase 4 — 2030–2031

Community & Nonprofit Expansion

Launching Student Advocacy of North Carolina — a companion nonprofit providing free IEP advocacy, special education rights education, and community outreach for families who need support navigating the school system alongside the benefits system.
